One million dollars to feed Maine's hungry
In homes, workplaces, and schools across the state, more than 200,000 Mainers don't know where they will find their next meal. An astonishing one in every four Maine children are not getting enough nutritious food.
At the same time that the need is growing, food donations are diminishing. The Food Bank must purchase more food to fill the gap.
Through our distribution network and innovative programs, Good Shepherd Food Bank is uniquely positioned to rapidly distribute food throughout the state.
At this moment of extraordinary need, the Food Bank is calling on major donors to join us in our mission by contributing to The Fund to Feed Maine. Through this one million dollar fund, the Food Bank will be able to distribute an additional 3 million meals to Mainers in need.
