Our Mission

The mission of Good Shepherd Food-Bank is to provide food for those at risk of hunger by soliciting surplus food and distributing it to non-profit programs throughout Maine, and in doing so, to do the work of Jesus, who is The Good Shepherd.



We depend heavily on Good Shepherd Food Bank for most of our food. Without Good Shepherd's deep discounts our funds would be exhausted on a regular basis.
