The Food Bank is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.

Phone numbers provided to Good Shepherd Food Bank may be contacted via text message as outlined in the rules set down for nonprofit organizations in the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by texting the word “Stop” or by contacting Good Shepherd Food Bank. Phone numbers gathered from donors or subscribers are only available to employees managing this information and to contracted service providers and vendors for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you. Good Shepherd Food Bank does not sell or rent your phone number to any third party. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties unless required by law.

How we use the information we collect

The personally identifiable information collected by the Food Bank site is used to fulfill online donations. We may also use this information to send users further details about the Food Bank and its upcoming events, programs and projects. Non-personally identifiable information may be used in aggregate form to analyze the usage of our site and improve site design and interface. This information that we collect will not be disclosed to third parties unless in response to a legal claim or law enforcement agency’s request.
