Become a farm partner to help us eliminate hunger in Maine

Eligibility

Mainers Feeding Mainers, a partnership between Good Shepherd Food Bank and Maine farms, welcomes applications from Maine farmers interested in partaking in the program.

Please read before applying:

  • To participate in the Mainers Feeding Mainers (MFM) program, the farmer/grower must support the mission of Good Shepherd Food Bank.
  • To participate in the MFM program, the farmer/grower needs to be located in an area that food insecurity needs are currently unmet.
  • To participate in the MFM program, the farmer/grower needs to agree to the set pricing created by Good Shepherd Food Bank.
  • To participate in the MFM program as a farm-to-pantry partner, the farmer/grower needs to be able to supply 300 lbs. or more of produce.
  • To participate in the MFM program as a farm-to-warehouse partner, the farmer/grower needs to be able to supply 1500 lbs. or more of produce.
  • To participate in the MFM program providing seafood, the partner must be able to package the seafood in 1 to 2 lb. packages.
