Community Fundraiser Proposal

Start a community fundraiser to help eliminate hunger in Maine

What is a community fundraiser?

Community fundraisers are coordinated and hosted by people or organizations external to Good Shepherd Food Bank with the express purpose of raising funds or awareness for the Food Bank. These events are often hosted by families, volunteers, individuals interested in giving back to their community, students fulfilling community service requirements, or organizations willing to give products or services.

Examples of community fundraisers include, but are not limited to: bottle drives, fashion shows, sporting tournaments, raffles, auctions, special occasion’s donations benefit concerts and chamber events.

More details

Coordination of community fundraisers is the responsibility of the hosting organization or individuals. It is the Food Bank’s goal to support you in your goal. In order to do that, we ask that friends interested in hosting community events and fundraisers on our behalf complete the following form.

Please allow 5 business days for review. Once your application has been reviewed, you will be contacted via email. If your fundraiser is approved, we’ll provide you with publicity materials and further information. Please do not use our name or branding in conjunction with your event or fundraiser until you have heard from us. Thank you!
