Maine Hunger-relief Agencies Receive $725,000 in Grants from Good Shepherd Food Bank

Capacity Building Grants awarded to partner agencies to make improvements

Good Shepherd Food Bank is pleased to announce the recipients of their annual Capacity Building Grant Awards. The purpose of the grant program is to support the Food Bank’s partner network in increasing food access in local communities through organizational and financial stability, program quality, and growth.

Pantries partners can use the funds for reach-in coolers, walk-in refrigerators, shelving, increasing access times, food safety, technology, transportation, or any other project they know will improve their effectiveness and capacity to move more food into their communities.
