Becky Crooker

Community Connections Specialist

Becky Crooker, Community Connections Specialist (CCS), joined Good Shepherd Food Bank in December 2023. Becky works with partners in the Northern Penobscot, Northern Washington, Piscataquis, Northern Somerset and Aroostook Counties.

Becky has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health and Human Services and has a Masters Degree in Counselor Education. Before joining the Food Bank, Becky has a combined total of over 20 years working in the healthcare and mental healthcare fields as a CNA, CNA-M and as an LCPC.

Becky lives in rural Maine where she enjoys long drives on back country roads exploring the outdoors, photography, camping, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.

Danielle Labonte

Community Connections Specialist

Danielle Labonte has been with the food bank for six years and is the Community Connections Specialist for Androscoggin County and the Northern Oxford Hills Region,

Danielle lives in Oxford County with her family. She has a daughter in High School, two cats, and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, camping, boating, fishing, hiking, and gardening.

Deb Gerow

Community Connections Specialist

Deb Gerow, Community Connections Specialist (CCS), joined the Food Bank in June 2023. Deb is the CCS for Hancock, Waldo, Knox, Southern Penobscot & Southern Washington Counties. She is a liaison between partner agencies, retail store donors, and the Food Bank, responding to questions and requests for information, conducting monitoring visits, building agency capacity by suggesting best practices, recording statistics and trends, understanding needs and gaps in service, and outreach/collaboration with communities in the fight to end hunger.

Before joining the Food Bank, Deb spent many years in healthcare management.

Deb lives with her husband in Holden. She enjoys hiking, spending time with family, time in nature, and exploring the nooks and crannies of Maine.

Nicole Pelletier

Community Connections Specialist

Nicole Pelletier, Community Connections Specialist (CCS), joined the Food Bank in December 2023. Nicole is the CCS for Franklin, Kennebec, and Southern Somerset Counties. She is a liaison between partner agencies, retail store donors, and the Food Bank, responding to questions and requests for information, conducting monitoring visits, building agency capacity by suggesting best practices, recording statistics and trends, understanding needs and gaps in service, and collaborating with communities to promote food security in Maine.

Nicole holds a B.A. in Social and Behavioral Sciences and, before joining the Food Bank, worked in social services providing direct support to children and families.

Nicole lives in Greene and enjoys spending her free time rockhounding, beachcombing, chasing auroras, or simply exploring the great state of Maine. 

Martha Lefebvre

Community Connections Specialist

As a Community Connections Specialist (CCS), Martha works with partners located in Sagadahoc & Lincoln Counties and The Greater Portland Region. She holds a master’s degree in Policy, Planning, and Management and a certificate in Food Studies from the University of Maine’s Muskie School. She recently earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Martha is committed to closing the meal gap and promoting equity in food systems. She believes that everyone deserves a seat at the table and that fair, equitable food access is essential to thriving communities. Outside of work, she’s happiest when she’s out in nature, birding and learning about wildlife, or relaxing at home with her partner and their two cats and dog – who run the house.

Angie Adams

Community Partnerships Supervisor

Angie joined Good Shepherd Food Bank in the spring of 2022 as a Community Resource Representative (CRR), where she supported partner agencies, retail store donors, and communities across Maine. In the fall of 2023, Angie advanced to Community Resources Team Lead, where she supported the Community Resources Team efforts in strengthening the network of partner agencies. Most recently, in the spring of 2025, she was promoted to Community Partnerships Supervisor, where she supports the Community Connections Team efforts in strengthening the network of community, healthcare, and school partners.  

Angie came to the Food Bank with over nine years of entrepreneurial experience and a degree in Business Administration from Southern Maine Community College. She lives in Southern Maine with her husband and two children. Angie enjoys spending her free time with her family at the lake, exploring the coast, reading, cooking, and completing home improvement projects.

Jen MacDonald

Senior Manager of Community Partnerships

Jen MacDonald has been a dedicated member of the Good Shepherd Food Bank team since 2013, when she began as an Agency Services Field Representative supporting partner agencies across five Maine counties. Over the years, her role evolved to deepen partner engagement, first as a Community Resource Representative and then as Community Resources Manager, where she led and expanded a statewide team focused on strengthening the Food Bank’s network of partner agencies.

In 2025, Jen stepped into her current role as Senior Manager of Community Partnerships. In this role, she helped unify three key programs, Community Resources, Youth and Family Initiatives, and Community Health and Hunger into one unified Community Connections Team. This team supports school, healthcare, and community-based partners, as well as retail donors, with a shared mission of ending hunger in Maine.

Jen lives in Southern Maine with her husband and two children. Outside of work, you can find her exploring the outdoors with her family, planning her next travel adventure, getting lost in a good book, or finding her zen on the yoga mat.

Dawn DiFiore

Director of Community Partnerships

Dawn DiFiore, Director of Community Partnerships, initially joined the Food Bank in January 2019 as the Community Resources Manager, a role she held until 2021.

In her current position, Dawn oversees the Community Resources team, Youth & Family Initiatives, and the Community Health & Hunger programs.

Dawn brings a wealth of experience to her role, having spent 12 years at the Phoenix Zoo and later transitioning to the tech sector in various leadership roles, where she supported diverse product lines. Her journey to the Food Bank was driven by a desire to align her career with impactful and transformative work in the non-profit sector.

Dawn lives with her partner Scott in New Gloucester, where they share their home with rescue dog Dardee and rescue cats Mac & Cheese. Dawn volunteers at her local library and is an avid reader, traveler & nature explorer.

Shannon Rooney

Community Connections Specialist

Shannon Rooney, Community Connections Specialist (CCS), joined the Food Bank in January 2023. Shannon is the CCS for York County, Western Maine Region, Southern Oxford Hills Region, and Cumberland Lakes Region. She is a liaison between partner agencies, retail store donors, and the Food Bank, responding to questions and requests for information, conducting monitoring visits, building agency capacity by suggesting best practices, recording statistics and trends, understanding needs and gaps in service, and collaborating with communities in the fight to end hunger.

Shannon has a B.A. in History, and before coming to the food bank, she worked in Higher Education for 21 years.

Shannon lives with her husband and two cats in Buxton. She loves gardening on their mini homestead, where she grows fruit trees, flowers, vegetables, and nuts. She enjoys reading fantasy and science fiction, throwing tea parties, and playing music with her husband and friends.

Shannon Coffin

Shannon Coffin, vice president of community partnerships, joined Good Shepherd Food Bank in 2010 and launched the first Youth & Families Initiatives partnerships in 2011. Under her leadership from 2011 to 2019, Youth & Families Initiatives grew from reaching 40 children in one school to over 5,000 families in over 150 schools. From November 2019 to August 2020, Shannon served as Good Shepherd Food Bank’s Director of Community Partnerships, helping to lead the transition of our Community Resources team. She grew the team from four Field Representatives focused on agency compliance to seven Community Resource Representatives, building agency capacity and managing relationships with local retail donors through increased partner engagement.

In the past, Shannon served as part of Full Plates Full Potentials Leadership Council, including chairing both their Child & Adult Care Food Program and Summer Food Service Program committees. She is also very active in the national Feeding America network. Most recently, she was selected to be a part of Feeding America’s first Equitable Access Innovation Cohort. In the past, she has provided support to peers across the country as a Child Hunger Capacity Adviser and as a Child Hunger Corps Supervisor.

Prior to working at Good Shepherd Food Bank, Shannon was Marketing & Events Coordinator for Green Tree Event Consultants in Falmouth, Maine, from 2006 to 2010. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Joseph’s College of Maine in 2007 with a Bachelor’s in Public Relations and Advertising. Outside of work, Shannon is the mother of endlessly energetic twins, and loves to garden and kayak.

Laura Vinal

Network Engagement and Training Manager

Laura Vinal, Network Engagement & Training Manager, leads the development and coordination of network-wide trainings and resources for partners and our Community Partnerships team. From Town Halls and on-demand trainings to newsletters and survey analytics, Laura ensures our partners, and the team that supports them, are equipped with the tools and information they need to build capacity and stay aligned with our strategic goals.

Laura holds a B.S. in Middle/Secondary Education from the University of Maine Farmington. Before joining Good Shepherd Food Bank, she served in Peace Corps Ukraine, teaching K-12 English and leading curriculum development workshops at local universities.

She lives in Bowdoinham, Maine, with her husband and daughter and, in her free time, enjoys being outside, spending time with family and friends, and traveling when she can.

Brooke Fogg-Wolfe

Community Connections Specialist

Brooke Fogg-Wolfe joined Good Shepherd Food Bank in September 2025 as a Community Connections Specialist (CCS). In her role, she serves as a key liaison between partner agencies, retail store donors, and the Food Bank. Brooke is responsible for responding to inquiries, conducting monitoring visits, providing guidance on best practices, tracking statistics and trends, and identifying gaps in service. She is dedicated to strengthening community relationships and supporting the collective effort to end hunger.

Brooke holds a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from the University of Maine. Prior to her work at the Food Bank, she spent 18 years teaching nutrition at local schools and community programs. Outside of work, Brooke enjoys dabbling in gardening, baking sourdough, soaking up time at the beach, and indulging in scary movies with her family.
